So after the awesome [livejournal.com profile] blademistress and V let me stay at their place after a stupid Friday night, I stole their internet to get work done all morning while they both left for exciting days of work.

Then I walked to Ellerslie. In the walk down there, I saw this amazing car 'it was for some landscaping company and was green with a creepy 3-D kid firgurehead and made siren noises - I thought it was a police car before it came around the corner, and then I went 'gah! My eyes!'. Then an actual police car followed it and I thought 'it should be illegal to use sirens like that; maybe they're going to ticket him.' but they didn't, they just followed, and the cop car license was LAPD 1 ... which I didn't know what to make of, but made me -_^

Anyway, got a train pass and went down to town where I found only one shop selling sheepies. They were selling them for $5 though, which made me happy until I realized they only had 2. So I grabbed them to send home in my packages.

Then I went up to Newmarket, where I got free street meat for lunch, helpfully provided by the staff of Noel Leeming. I didn't really find anything helpful for my missions, but I realized I had time, so I stopped into Baci and grabbed a coffee, which was weird to do alone after spending so much time there with B, C and R.

Then I went to Panmure, where I found a Spotlight and grabbed some promising fabric. I'm hoping to play with it today and see where I end up.

Then I ended up in Silvia park, where I bought lots of candy to go in the packages. V brought my attention to the fact that normal skittles flavours are all different in NZ vs NA, so I grabbed some to try it out.

I hung out in borders until L and V came to meet me again after work and we went to see a movie

It was so amazing. It was like Kill Bill meets Mystery Man. Or Something. I don't even know, but it rocked. Also, there's a scene at the end, where it's University and [livejournal.com profile] ghostj and I were there. The movie takes place in New York but was filmed in Toronto and it's really funny - they've taken out recognizeable TO buildings and thrown in recognizeable NY ones.
Oh, I should warn some of the people on my flist that it was less feel-good and way more graphic than I was expecting.

I heard the Glee version of Don't Stop Believing three times in the mall yesterday. No one knew about that song here until Glee! There's something so wrong about that.

OMG why is Franny so hot!? She's such a bitch. That outfit at the IKI party is amazing. Hee! Rebecca and Casey are kind of starting to like each other. It makes me flail. Love Calvin. Also, I think the KTs just agree with anyone who wants to get in. Lol. OMG I LOVE REBECCA.

But... the original "Don't Stop Believing" is so good.

How saddening.

So, I hadn't been over to your lj for a long time, mostly reading off my flist. That pink is blinding, in a tacky-but-I-love-it-so-so-much kind of way.

Okay, anyways. You're actually in the movie as background? Because that is sort of funny and kind of cool.

I don't understand the entire last paragraph.

Hi! I miiiiiiiiiiiiiss you.

No, we weren't in the shots. There were security guards and shit to prevent that. We were sitting behind the security guards, watching the helicopters with Glados-like cameras go past.

Yeah, the purple/pink's an issue. I keep meaning to fix it but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The last paragraph's about Greek. Like it says it is. Go watch Greek then go back.

Sorry, I'm being a little terse but I'm annoyed at how I've gotten done not nearly as much as I wanted to so far today.

Lols glad your day was fun ^^
I've been toying with seeing KickAss for just that reason :D

But if it's near the end I just I can't do a double flick at the AMC and just leave after it like I was thinking :DD

They are trying to make a controversy out of the movie here, eh? Since HitGirl was all of 11 when they filmed it. Anyone's thoughts about being in movies that you aren't old enough to watch? 'Cause I'll i could think of was the exorcist lols

Oh, most of the filming is Toronto. You can tell even though they've taken out the recognizeable buildings and put in NY ones. But the scene where you can really tell it's University is at the very end. Also, I've now had Puccho in Japan ... that's what that day reminds me of; you, helicopters and puccho.

That's ... really kind of funny. I'm sure it was very empowering for her. I would have loved the role at 11.
