Okay, so as I suspected, once I got home and called vodafone, they reset the password and got it all hooked up again fine in about 5 minutes. I then spent an hour on the phone with Dick Smith's technical support as they're the brand on the wireless router. The guy had me hook up the router to my computer directly and run my ipconfig. It came back with a 169 ip address, which apparently is router-speak for 'I'm not working properly'.

So apparently the IP address of the router has either been changed or the router is broke. It can maybe fixed if I bring it in, but I'm sure it wouldn't be free. The wireless works (miraculously?), but I still have to deal with Walther turning it off constantly.

Walther spent 2 hours on the phone with vodafone today; I feel so bad for not having time to fix it last night mostly for the mental health of the poor guy on the other end of the phone.


In other news, Felicia Day, Will Wheaton and Adam Savage tweeting back and forth about the apocalypse is pretty much the best thing ever. My fandoms are so incestuous!

No matter how much Greek rocks, it doesn't stop me from wanting to be in LA. Miss you guys.
